The Iizuka City History Museum opens in November 1981 to deepen citizens ‘understanding and awareness of local history and cultural properties, and contributes to citizens’ cultural activities and lifelong learning. Many important cultural properties are displayed.

Kaho Theater
The only wooden playhouse left in Chikuho, which flourished in the coal mine. You can taste the atmosphere of Kabuki hut in Edo, one of the few in Japan. Around the stage, approaching, and two flower paths. A total of 1200 seats will be available for the seats, including the seats on the first floor and the second floor. Since its opening in 1931 (Showa 6), it has been open for business and you can go up to this stage where many famous entertainers stood.
